    Brushless DC motor is a typical mechatronics product, which is composed of motor body and driver. Because the brushless DC motor is operated in an automatic control mode, it will not add a starting winding to the rotor like a synchronous motor started under frequency conversion speed regulation, and will not produce oscillation and out-of-step when the load changes.


    Brushless is that the "brush" in the brush motor is gone, and the role of the brush in the brush motor is to energize the coil in the rotor through the commutator.


    The brushless motor uses a permanent magnet to make a rotor, and there is no coil in the rotor. Since there are no coils in the rotor, commutators and brushes for electrification are not required. Instead, the coil serves as the stator.


    The origin of the brushless motor is relatively simple from the beginning: most of the problems of the brushed DC motor come from the brush. Brushes can spark, wear, make a lot of noise and generate a large portion of power consumption, resulting in severely limited speed and not easy to cool.


    This means that you cannot use brushed DC motors around anything flammable, in applications that require long service life, silence or high efficiency, in any high-speed or high-power system.

    In general, brushless motors have a longer service life than brushless motors. The main limiting feature of a brushed motor is its brush and commutator. The typical life of a brush is typically 2,000 to 5,000 operating hours, but this should not be considered a guarantee for all applications. The service life of brushless devices usually exceeds 10,000 hours, but is usually limited by bearing life and environmental conditions.
